The Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (BEDIPO), led by Maria Fe Dominise, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and in partnership with Mater Dei College, successfully launched the first leg of the Job Preparation and IT-BPM Career Fair Roadshow 2026, engaging 631 graduating students in Tubigon.
The initiative equipped students with essential insights on entering the workforce, featuring discussions from industry partners TaskUs, Sagility, and IBEX Global. Topics covered included career preparation, industry inclusivity, and real-life success stories in the BPO sector.
A panel discussion further connected students with industry experts, strengthening their readiness for employment opportunities.
Guided by its Strategic Governance Roadmap, the Provincial Government of Bohol, under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado, continues to reinforce initiatives for Bohol’s growing position as an emerging IT hub alongside its distinction as the Philippines’ first and only UNESCO Global Geopark and Regenerative Island.
