The Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (BEDIPO), led by Maria Fe Dominise, reports significant gains from 2024 to mid-2025, reflecting its commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth.

Total investments facilitated grew from ₱29 billion in 2024 to ₱42 billion in 2025, led by the energy sector, followed by tourism, retail, IT-BPM, telecom, and agri-fishery. BEDIPO served 9,340 clients, with 72% being MSMEs. Supported enterprises reported ₱48 million in gross sales and provided employment to 9,938 individuals across the province.

To strengthen its impact, BEDIPO deepened convergence efforts, collaborating with 27 national agencies, the private sector, the academe, and all 48 LGUs. It is enhancing services at the Bohol Business One-Stop Shop and continues to represent the province in nine special bodies and councils, contributing to programs like the Geopark initiative and sustainable product development.

In November 2024, Bohol’s first Competitiveness Summit recognized 15 outstanding LGUs—the highest ever—prompting Governor Aris Aumentado to release ₱11.5 million in grant incentives. Investment policy workshops in eight LGUs have also led to the drafting of local investment codes aligned with provincial policy.

Customer satisfaction remains high at 97%, with BEDIPO pursuing organizational improvements following an HRMDO review.

For the 2025 Sandugo Season, BEDIPO will launch the Bantawan Food Park on June 16, followed by Fusion Nights with Flavors of Bohol, a Trade Expo at ICM, and IT-BPO promotion events in partnership with IBPAP and DICT.

Under Governor Aumentado’s leadership, Bohol remains focused on sustainable development and inclusive progress as envisioned in the Strategic Change Agenda. BEDIPO’s accomplishments serve as a call for unity and continued collaboration in building a stronger, future-ready Bohol, the country’s first and only UNESCO Global Geopark.
