Tagbilaran City Port

Sea travel is convenient and comfortable, with several daily trips available through the Tagbilaran City Tourist Port, which accommodates both passengers and cargo.

Bohol also has seven other operational seaports, making it easily accessible to Cebu, Eastern Visayas, Luzon, and Mindanao.

Employment Rate

The employment rate in Bohol improved significantly, rising from 96.2% in 2022 to 96.6% in 2023. This upward trend indicates that more Boholanos have successfully re-entered the workforce following the challenges brought by the pandemic. Notably, the 2023 employment rate in the province already exceeded the pre-pandemic level recorded in 2019. Furthermore, Bohol outperformed the national employment rate of 96.2% and the national labor force participation rate of 64.4% in 2023, reflecting a robust local labor market recovery and increased economic activity in the province.
