The Bohol BOSS Securities and Exchange Commission Helpdesk provides assistance in the registration of Stock and Non-Stock Corporations and assesses the compliance of requirements and payments to facilitate approval of registration applications.
In 2023, 691 walk-in clients were served by the Bohol BOSS SEC Helpdesk and had facilitated the approval of 33 applications.
Our SEC Helpdesk Officer also offered phoned-in inquiries services and follow-up services of applications. The number of approved applications vary, depending on the number of clients needing assistance. Regardless, however, applications coursing through our SEC Helpdesk have consistently had 100% approval by the SEC and consequently issued their certificates of Incorporation. Clients repeatedly visit the SEC Helpdesk for multiple queries regarding their applications, which indicates significant need for advisory and technical assistance. Most of our clients visit the SEC Helpdesk at an average of 10 to 12 sessions per application. This indicates that the local presence of a helpdesk on SEC services definitely eases the brunt on cost of doing business and the easy facilitation of customer needs.
